Inspiration-Palooza

I'm excited to be participating in the Inspiration Palooza over at The Champ Life!

My quilt goals for 2014 include:

~Learning to paper-piece
~Finish my Square in Square Quilt
~ learn to Free Motion Quilt
~add labels to quilts I make
~Make a quilt for my son
~Make an Equilateral Triangle Quilt
~blog & log my quilts more consistently

And because this is my first year I've really started quilting, I don't have a ton to choose from. I have about 4 I need to finish and made around 6 other quilts. If I had to choose one, I think this one was my favorite...

I love fall and this quilt always makes me think of that beautiful time of year!
Plus, I just LOVE strip quilts. I'm not sure why, but I've always been drawn to them.

And now I officially miss fall.

  1. Oh, adding labels to quilts is a good goal! I should be doing that. I love that quilt! The colors are gorgeous, and look so awesome with the fall leaves. Thanks for linking up! :)

  2. Beautiful quilt, and gorgeous tree with fall colors. I know you are hiding there! Sounds like you have some super goals for 2014. My goals for my business are to learn to create wonderful pdf patterns, and to make my own iron-on labels for sewing on projects. These two things, along with creating new designs, should nicely round out 2014!!

    1. Thank you! And those are some great goals you have! Someday I'd like to learn how to calculate quilt measurements and make my own pdfs as well! ..but that's far down the road for me most likely.
